I found about photographer, Mark Tipple, on the Adventure Journal site. The Underwater Project is fantastic photography and what better time to find it…. the end of summer. The waters still warm, but it’s getting colder.
So enjoy and remember the summer that was. Oh and the one ahead. His Underwater Project site is here but below, is a video of some of his work.
Also take a look at Mark’s other work The Gallery for Justice a really worthwhile cause and again great photography.

Autumn in Sydney is a beautiful time of year, temperatures aren’t scorching, but the sea temperatures are very comfortable at around 20-25°C
Beaches are relativity quite and if you are in the right place at the right time…..

I read Jon Krakauer’s book Into The Wild back in 1999 and was realy affected by the story. I enjoyed the movie and the the series Iconoclasts had a great episode bringing Sean Penn and Jon Krakauer together. Anyway, today I found a story on the Outside online blog, about a DVD and book of Chris’s journal entry’s and photos, released by his parents. Follow the link for more info.
Looking forward to seing it.

A very detailed and thought provoking look at Macquarie Marshes, following a recent trip to the area, by Envirotecture’s Dick Clarke. As always from Dick, a good read!
